Planned Protests Across Sa Over 7-year-old Girls Rape

A number of protests are expected to take place around the country today, to demand justice for a seven-year-old who was raped allegedly at the Bergview College in Eastern Cape.

The matter drew the ire of civil society organizations, calling for the school to handle the matter properly.

The schools principal has also been accused of refusing to cooperate with the police on the matter.

Meanwhile, lobby group AfriForum has come to the principals defence , saying it was not possible for him to have been involved in the alleged rape, as he was at a different campus when the incident happened.

Operation Dudula President Zandile Dabula will be taking part in the demonstrations.
