Pirates Coach Announces End Of Season Departure

Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has shocked the Buccaneers faithful by announcing that hell step down at the end of the season.

Riveiro has informed management of his decision not to renew his contract when it expires at the end of this season.

In the clubs best interest, he decided to make the announcement today to ensure business as usual for the remainder of the season. It also creates an opportunity for the club to prepare for the future.

Pirates have excelled under Riveiro this season.

They are currently second on the Betway Premiership log with a mathematical chance of winning the league title, they are in the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League and in the semifinals of the Nedbank Cup
