Pearl Thusi 'ignored' Desperate Mom After Offering To Pay Sons' Fees

Media personality Pearl Thusi is on the spot after allegedly ignoring a desperate mothers DMs on X after offering to pay for her sons school fees.

The mother, Siviwe Matroos, shared in July last year that she had failed to get her sons back to school.

My final attempt at getting my sons back to school failed earlier today, so I sat them down and let them know of the reality that things arent going well for mom. I dont know when theyll be going back. But this wont be forever, she wrote.

Tagging her close friend DJ Zinhle , Pearl quoted Matroos post in September and wrote, Send the school name, account details- so we can verify. I'll make a contribution. DJZinhle let's split it babe?

A day later, DJ Zinhle responded, Only seeing this now, sorry friend. Let me know what you need.

However, as learners head back to school this week, Matroos revealed on Wednesday 15 January that shes still in the same boat.

None of the people who offered to help here did. The last time Pearl responded to my DM was on September 19 with, Didnt the money come in? Others ke dololo response. I spoke in peoples DMs alone for weeks!

This prompted social media users to drag Pearl for allegedly failing to fulfil her promise to help Matroos pay her sons school fees.

Pearl Thusi promised to help Siviwe and went as far as tagging DJ Zinhle. Then Pearl decided to ghost Siviwe. No man Pearl is such a sick individual, Aphelele Tyelbooi wrote.
