A new cross-border partnership is allowing travellers to combine the wilderness experiences of a renowned game reserve in Botswana with the offerings of a leading wine estate in South Africas Winelands region.

Mashatu Game Reserve in the Northern Tuli Block of Botswana has partnered with Quoin Rock Wine Estate in Stellenbosch to create three bespoke packages catering for multi-generational families, friends and corporate retreats.

Known as the Land of the Giants, Mashatu is a 42 000ha wilderness area and home to the largest elephant population on a private game reserve in southern Africa. Surrounded by mountains, Quoin Rock is renowned for its award-winning wines, luxury accommodation and fine dining.

Accommodation in Mashatu is provided in the five-star Euphorbia Villas, five-star Kolokolo Safari Home or self-catering Shalimpo Safari Home. This is combined with Quoin Rocks Manor House or the Knorhoek Farmhouse.

The itineraries are each either four or six nights for eight to 10 people.
