Parents Demand Accountability For Kzn School Stabbing

The Parents Association in KwaZulu-Natal is calling for those responsible for the stabbing of three learners at Centenary Secondary School in Durban yesterday, to be held accountable.

The provincial education department and the school management met on Wednesday following the incident.

Chairperson of the Parents Association in KwaZulu-Natal KZN, Vee Gani says the school needs immediate stability in order to reassure parents and learners, who have safety concerns.

"There must be an investigation into what happened. If we dont know what happened we are not going to be able to address it. If you are a parent of a child going to that school you are going to be scared because there are already children who have been injured in some way, you dont want your child to be injured. We need to eliminate that risk, so immediately there needs to be stability that is put into that school."
