Victor Osimhen has been handed a lifeline by Galatasaray after they signed him on a season-long loan from Napoli with no option or obligation to buy.
The Nigeria international was left in limbo at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona after failing to secure a move away from Naples before the transfer window slammed shut on Friday.
Osimhen saw potential deals with Al Ahli and Chelsea fall through due to financial demands and he was subsequently frozen out of the first team by Partenopei head coach Antonio Conte.
The 25-year-old striker lost his No. 9 jersey to new signing Romelu Lukaku and was left out of Contes squad for their Serie A opener against Parma on Saturday.
However, Gala have come to Osimhens rescue after agreeing to pay his salary in full for the 2024-25 campaign.
