Osayi-samuel Features As Ex-arsenal Man Shoots Down Jose Mourinhos Fenerbahce

Bright Osayi-Samuel featured for Fenerbahe in their 1-0 defeat to bitter rivals Besiktas in the Istanbul derby at Tupras Stadyumu on Saturday night. The Nigerian international came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute, playing the final eight minutes of the match.

The only goal of the game came in the 73rd minute, courtesy of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who struck a low cross-cum-shot into the box after coming on as a substitute. The ball sneaked past the Fenerbahe goalkeeper and into the far corner, securing a crucial win for Besiktas.

Heading into the match, Fenerbahe were in strong form, having won their previous five games in all competitions. However, Besiktas managed to frustrate the high-flying visitors for much of the match, holding them at bay before grabbing the decisive goal midway through the second half.

The result was a huge boost for Besiktas in the Super Lig, while Fenerbahe's winning streak came to an end in a tightly contested derby. Despite the loss, Osayi-Samuel's brief appearance adds to his ongoing contribution to the team this season.
