Omotoso Acquittal A Complete Humiliation For Npa: Gender Activist

Gender activist Lisa Vetten has described the acquittal of televangelist Timothy Omotoso and two others as a complete humiliation for the National Prosecuting Authority NPA.

The high court in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape acquitted Omotoso, Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho yesterday after finding them not guilty on all charges.

They faced 32 charges including rape, human trafficking and racketeering.

The NPA says it is exploring all possible avenues to ensure that the complainants get justice.

Vetten says the NPA failed dismally.
