The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, Ogun State Command, says it will deploy not less than 3,150 personnel across the 20 local government and wards in the state for the November 16 local government election.
The state commandant, Remi Ekundayo said this is to ensure safety of voters, and to prevent any sort of violence during the election.
Ekundayo spoke on Thursday during a sendforth ceremony for the Commandant, David Ojelabi, held at the Ogun State Command Headquarters in Abeokuta.
Ekundayo assured that all hands are on deck to ensure that Ogun State remains a peaceful state while emphasizing her commitment to take a bold step in enhancing her predecessor's work.
