London City Lionesses have strengthened their squad with the signing of Nigerian winger Rofiat Imuran on a three-year contract, Soccernet.ng reports .
The 20-year-old joins the English Womens Championship side on a free transfer after the expiration of her contract with French club Stade de Reims.
Imuran, who played a key role in Reims' back-to-back top-six finishes in the French D1 Arkema, is expected to bring dynamism and experience to the Lionesses as they push for promotion to the Barclays Women's Super League WSL.
She has already linked up with her new teammates at Hayes Lane, participating in first-team training earlier this week.
Imurans international experience includes representing Nigeria at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup and the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
