Members of the industry were shocked and devastated to hear of the death of Patsy Hayter , Owner of Exclusive Getaways established 2001, after a short illness last week October 31.
In their tribute on the Exclusive Getaways Facebook page, her team said To all our supporters and friends of Exclusive Getaways. We are heartbroken to share the news of Patsy's passing. She was such a pillar in the travel community and a wise, warm and remarkable woman that people turned to for so many things professionally and personally. Brigitte Hoyle , Owner of Travel FLOH, described Patsy as an energetic, positive, soft and warm-hearted, funny and, most of all, genuine person. My you rest in peace surrounded by love and light.
Other friends and colleagues remembered how she would help them tap into her business network, highlighting that she was incredibly dear to so many across the globe not only in the tourism education, travel and hospitality sector but in every walk of life.
People spoke of her love and care for animals, her ethics, generous heart, great sense of humour and her radiant smile.
