Nasarawa United assistant coach, Mohammed Saidu Bashir, was relieved to see his side return to winning ways in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Solid Miners put the disappointment of last weeks defeat to Kwara United behind them to beat Akwa United 2-0 in Lafia on Sunday.

Salisu Yusufs side moved out of the relegation zone following the win.
