Nasarawa State government has expressed worry over the poor run of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side, Nasarawa United.
The Deputy Governor of the state, Dr Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, convened an emergency meeting with key stakeholders of the club following the teams shocking home loss to Kwara United.
The meeting was held at the temporary office of the Deputy Governor in Lafia.
Dr Akabe said the inconsistency of the Solid Miners in the NPFL particularly the recent home loss was unacceptable.
This meeting is necessitated by the loss to Kwara United. His Excellency, the Governor and my principal, is very upset about this and has directed me to convene this meeting to find a way through for our Club, Dr Akabe stated during the meeting.
