Nasarawa United's technical adviser, Kabiru Dogo, remains optimistic about turning around the club's fortunes despite a challenging run. The Solid Miners have failed to win in their last four league matches, most recently suffering a 2-0 loss to Plateau United in a matchday 13 fixture at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.
The match saw Shina Kumater score an own goal, and Olawale Doyeni convert a penalty to seal the victory for Plateau United. Despite the result, Dogo expressed his belief that Nasarawa United deserved more from the game, particularly after a strong first-half performance. However, he acknowledged that the team failed to capitalize on their chances and lost focus in the second half, which allowed Plateau United to take control.
Currently, Nasarawa United sit at the bottom of the league table, with just 12 points from 13 games.
