As the festive season approaches, travellers between the United Kingdom and Cape Town will be given extra options after Norse Atlantic Airways announced new seasonal flights between London Gatwick and the Mother City, Cape {town} Etc reports.
Norse Atlantic is a Norwegian low-cost long-haul airline based in Arendal, Norway.
The airline was founded in February 2021 and currently runs a fleet of Boeing 787 aircraft between Europe, North America, Africa and Asia.
Its first flight was on June 14, 2022, from Oslo Gardermoen Airport to New York Citys John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The new service , which will be Norse Atlantics first destination in Africa, begins on 28 October 2024, with three flights each week - Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday - departing from Gatwick Airport, a 30-minute rail trip south of London.
