NITDA Launches Digital Literacy Initiative with Corps Members in 12 States

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has launched the first phase of its Digital Literacy for All (DL4ALL) initiative, deploying National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members as trainers across 12 states in Nigeria.

The agency, in a statement released on Saturday, announced that it is leveraging its partnership with the NYSC to drive the program, aiming to achieve 70% digital literacy among Nigerians by 2027.

The 12 states where the pilot phase has commenced include the Federal Capital Territory, Kebbi, Jigawa, Yobe, Gombe, Kwara, Ekiti, Osun, Cross River, Bayelsa, Abia, and Ebonyi.

In these states, camp sensitization lectures are underway, introducing corps members and local communities to the goals of the Digital Literacy for All Programme, the statement said.
