Nine suspects have been arrested in connection with cases of extortion, murder and armed robberies in Umbilo, Durban.
Police conducted an intelligence-driven operation and investigations led them to a residence on Grundel Road in Glenmore, Umbilo.
Police found two pistols, a riffle magazine and 173 rounds of ammunition of rustically bound firearms as well as drugs.
The suspects are due to appear in the Durban Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
