Nigerias Samuel Chukwueze has been named in AC Milans squad for their pre-season tour in the United States, Soccernet.ng reports .
Milan announced the 29-man roster with a special USA-themed graphic on their official X account , including several young players eager to make an impact.
Chukwueze, who joined Milan from Villarreal last year, is looking to impress manager Paolo Fonseca and secure a spot in the starting lineup.
Last season, he played second fiddle to Christian Pulisic on the right wing, partly due to his late arrival in August, which limited his pre-season involvement. Meanwhile, Pulisic, who transferred from Chelsea earlier, had more time to integrate into the team.
This pre-season could be crucial for Chukwueze, as Pulisic has yet to join the squad after playing for the United States at the Copa America.
