Private higher education provider STADIO has started construction on its Durbanville campus, with the institution expected to open its doors in 2006 and catering to between 4 000 and 5 000 students, Cape town Etc reports.
The university will provide education in diverse fields such as Information Technology IT, education, law, architecture, engineering, commerce, media and design.
Once construction is complete, the campus is envisioned to be 13 000m of buildings.
Starting in 2025, construction will be launched in phases, with access points, roads, first academic blocks, offices, lecture halls and parking facilities, as reported by TygerBurger via News24 .
In addition, a rugby field that will be complying with World Rugbys turf specifications will be constructed on the campus, by February 2026.
