Travellers now have access to two family-owned luxury camps offering exclusive-use, fully catered or self-catering accommodation in the renowned Timbavati Private Nature Reserve within Kruger National Park.
Safari for Real led by experienced field guides Lex Hes and Chris Stamper has secured exclusive access to the Chimanimani and Nyala camps with traversing rights on a prime 3500hectare section of the big five reserve.
Recently overhauled during its transition from a private family camp, Chimanimani features:
- Four modern double rooms (one with two interleading bedrooms ideal for families)
- Communal areas (large fully equipped kitchen, lounge with fireplace, outdoor dining area, firepit, boma and swimming pool)
The camp is raised above the woodlands of the reserve with views of the Drakensberg escarpment.
