New African Union-themed Village In Ethiopia

Kuriftu Resort Spa has recently launched the African Village a new addition to its hospitality portfolio in Ashewa Meda on the outskirts of Addis Ababa. Designed to celebrate Africas cultural diversity and unity, the African Union-themed resort features 54 luxury villas representing different African nations.

The African Village is equipped with nine conference halls, including a multi-purpose venue with capacity for 932 guests, making it a hub for high-profile events. Guests can also enjoy panoramic views of Addis Ababa while dining at venues like the 1963 Restaurant, named in honour of the Organisation of African Unitys founding year, and the Summit Grill, which hosts up to 1 000 guests.

The resorts wellness offerings include an indoor swimming pool, spa with African-inspired treatments, Moroccan baths, steam rooms and a fully equipped gym. These facilities aim to enhance the guest experience while promoting health and relaxation.
