Greece manager, Ivan Jovanovic has suggested that his team defeated England 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League tie on Thursday because his players were inspired to play in George Baldocks memory.

Recall that Baldock, a former Greece defender, was found dead in his swimming pool at his home in Greece on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old had left English football to sign for Greek club Panathinaikos in the summer transfer window.
