After a four-year break from the runway, the Naked Ape returned to South African Fashion Week this season to launch its autumn/winter 25 collection.
Titled Afro Monks, the collection is a tribute to African spirituality.
Afro Monks is a tribute to the unassuming spiritual beings who walk among us with grace and purpose .
Through this collection, I wanted to remind people of the power we each hold to contribute positively to the world while celebrating the richness of African craftsmanship, said Shaldon Kopman, the creative director of the brand.
Each piece is a meditation on simplicity, groundedness, and the mindful journey of self-care and spirituality.
