The lead investigating officer in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has testified that one of the accused made contact with Kelly Khumalo.
In his testimony, Brigadier Bongani Gininda told the court that through cellephone analysis they found that accused number 5, Fisokuhle Ntuli, had made contact with Khumalo.
Khumalo was the then Bafana Bafana captains girlfriend at the time.
She has been fingered by two of the accused in their confession statements as the alleged mastermind behind the murder.
Five accused are on trial at the High Court in Pretoria for Meyiwas 2014 murder.
