Municipalities Plagued By Service Delivery Challenges Call For Help

The mayors of some municipalities within the Ngaka Modiri Molema District in the North West are calling for more support from both the provincial and national governments, to resolve service delivery challenges.

They include water shortages, poor revenue collection and financial mismanagement.

They made these remarks during an oversight visit by Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr Namane Masemola, to the district under the theme, Every Municipality Must Work.
