A 30-year-old suspect, whos been sought for murder cases including that of his neighbour and the attempted murder of two police officers, has finally been arrested.
The suspect was nabbed next to the George Goch Hostel in Johannesburg on Saturday following an intelligence driven operation.
He is wanted for crimes committed in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
HAWKS spokesperson Katlego Mogale, The suspect was also expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on 28 July 2024, possession of unlicensed firearm but failed to do so because at the time he was also being sought for murder in KwaZulu-Natal. The suspect will be appearing in court soon on Jeppe case facing charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm then transferred to KwaZulu-Natal where he will answer to murder and attempted murder as per Estcourt case as well as murder as per Loskop case. All the crimes were committed this year.
