Muhsin Ertugral Confirms Cape Town City Have A New Head Coach

Cape Town Citys search for stability is nearly over, with interim coach Muhsin Ertugral confirming the appointment of a new head coach, who will be named as soon as April.

This announcement comes amid a turbulent period for the Citizens, who have struggled under Ertugral since his January arrival following Eric Tinklers dismissal. When Ertugral first took over, there was a flicker of optimism with wins over Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates brought early promise.

But the reality soon set in, with just three wins from 11 matches, leaving City languishing due to inconsistency and 10th in the Betway Premiership standings.

Speaking after a disappointing 2-0 loss to AmaZulu on Sunday in Durban, the Turkish born coach revealed the next man to take his seat had already begun monitoring the side and will be announced in due time.

We have already decided on the coach, and he has seen the team, Ertugral said.
