Mpumalanga Tavern Shooting Victims To Be Laid To Rest

Eight people gunned down o utside a tavern in Pienaar east of Mbombela in Mpumalanga are to be buried in different areas today.

Six people were fatally wounded outside the Levisa Bar also known as kaDludlu. Two others died in hospital bringing the number of those killed to eight.

The incident happened a week ago. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the killings.

They are facing eight counts of murder, two attempted murder and being found in possession of unlicensed firearms.

The bereaved families have welcomed the arrests but have called for justice to prevail.
