Movers And Shakers: Marriott Promotes Johan Cronje

Johan Cronj has been appointed the new Regional VP of Marriott International for sub-Saharan Africa. Based in Cape Town, Cronj started his career with Protea Hotels by Marriott in 2001.

He most recently served as the Area Director of Operations for Sub-Saharan Africa, leading operational disciplines and key business initiatives across the region.

The company said Cronjs deep understanding of the market and proven track record of operational excellence would make him an outstanding leader.
