Mourinho: En-nesyri Showed That He Is Back

Fenerbahce head coach Jose Mourinho is confident that Youssef En-Nesyri will regain his scoring touch to aid their title push in the final seven games of the season.

The Morocco international has made a massive impact on the Yellow Canaries following his arrival from Sevilla in July 2024, scoring 16 goals in 27 Super Lig appearances while also providing five assists.

En-Nesyri has bagged another four goals in the Turkish Cup plus six in the Europa League, making him the clubs top scorer with 26 across all competitions.

The 27-year-old strikers form took a dip during Ramadan and he has gone three outings without a goal, most recently coming off the bench for the final nine minutes in the 3-1 win over Sivasspor on Sunday.

However, Mourinho believes En-Nesyri will soon be back to his best as the Istanbul giants look to haul in arch-rivals Galatasaray, who are three points clear of them at the summit.
