The ANCs first deputy secretary general, Nomvula Mokonyane will this weekend lead the partys electioneering campaign at the Thabazimbi local municipality in Limpopo.
There will be a by-election at the Thabazimbi Municipality on the 4th of December following the dissolution of the municipal council. ANC Limpopo spokesperson, Jimmy Machaka says Mokonyane will conduct door to door campaigns at various wards in the municipality.
"The African national Congress in Limpopo province confirms that indeed the first deputy Secretary General, Nomvula Mokonyane will today descent to Thabazimbi where she will do ANC door to door at wards 9,12,7 and 5 this is part of the ANC's efforts to make sure that we interact with voters in a quest to reclaim the municipality. We are urging all our structures to give the necessary support to the DSG as and when that she will be doing the election work, says Machaka.
