Moholo Used His Music To Fight Crime Lesufi
Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has described the late gospel artist Solly Moholo as a man who loved South Africa and used his music to fight crime.
Lesufi was addressing mourners at Moholos funeral at Akasia in Pretoria.
Moholo died on Wednesday last week after a short illness. He had suffered a stroke while promoting his latest album in Botswana.
This was Lesufis tribute to Moholo, Solly Moholo loved our country, Moholo loved South Africa. Solly Moholo was known for his crime fighting in communities. His song Ke Lahlile Boginza was followed by a small hit dont kill the police.
The daughter of Moholo delivered a moving tribute at his funeral.
