Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi has described Major League Soccer, MLS, as a fast and physical league.

According to the Argentina forward, MLS is growing a lot, and the league is evolving and developing.

Messi moved to the American league as a free agent after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired a few seasons ago.

"MLS is growing a lot as a league, in line with United States culture, Messi told AppleMusic.

"The league is evolving and developing rapidly. I hope it will continue to grow, with more clubs following Inter Miami's example."
