Mk Party Says Plans Afoot To Take Over Control Of Kzn

The uMkhonto weSizwe MK Party is adamant that it will take the reins in KwaZulu-Natal in the coming months. Despite the party securing the greatest number of votes in KwaZulu-Natal in last years general elections , it failed to secure an outright majority.

This forced it to become the official opposition when the IFP, the ANC, the DA and the NFP formed a government of provincial unity.

Party leader Jacob Zuma addressed members in Durban.

"Some people said we would only last a monthbut here we are, we are here to stay."

Zuma has reassured party leaders that MK is still going strong.
