Construction of The Residences at Meli Seychelles is well underway. The development is expected to officially open after construction is completed in the first quarter of 2026.
The main buildings for the business and leisure resort project, undertaken by Seafront Development Ltd, have reached roof height. The project is located near LEscale Resort and across from Eden Island on reclaimed land along the east coast of Mahe, the main island, near the capital Victoria.
This five-star development will showcase the Spanish Meli Hotel Groups debut in Seychelles with 120 hotel rooms, 68 branded apartments, conference centre, commercial hub, multiple restaurants, spa, gym, 48 metre infinity pool and Seychelles first rooftop bar on the sixth floor overlooking Eden Island and its super-yacht marina and St Anne Marine Park.
Rod Thorrington , Project Development Manager, said The Residences at Meli Seychelles allows investors to acquire 68 freehold title apartments, priced between US500000 and US1.5 million, all managed by world-renowned Meli Hotels Resorts. Apartment owners will enjoy full access to the hotel's extensive amenities.
As the first branded apartments on the island, there will be 40 units in the South Block and 28 in the North Block. The fully furnished South Block apartments are included in the five-star Meli Resorts rental pool offering owners 42 days of complimentary use each year.
