After taking over the former Hilton Sandton and officially reopening it as NH Sandton on July 1, Minor Hotels is actively seeking opportunities to expand its brand in Africa and across South Africa, Lindi Mthethwa , Regional Director of Sales Marketing for Minor Hotels told Travel News .
The NH Sandton became Minors first property in South Africa. However, it will also mark the debut of Minors NH Collection brand in Africa when NH Sandtons 24-month refurbishment is complete, as reported by Travel News .
The NH Sandtons rebranding to NH Collection Sandton will be completed in early 2027.
Once refurbished, the 329-key propertys guest room categories will include lead-in rooms, suites, one-bedroom suites and the 145 sqm Royal Suite.
Facilities will include two restaurants and two bars, an executive lounge, conference facilities, a gym and large outdoor swimming pool.
