Microsoft has announced a major investment of 1 million approximately ?1.6 billion to enhance Artificial Intelligence AI skills among Nigerians. Over the next two years, the initiative aims to train one million individuals, equipping them with AI competencies to thrive in the evolving digital economy.

The announcement was made recently in Lagos by Ola Williams, Microsofts Country Manager for Nigeria and Ghana. The initiative aligns with Microsofts broader commitment to fostering digital transformation and bridging the AI skills gap in Africa.
