Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise is set to close the door on representing his father's home country at the international level, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 22-year-old, born in England to a Nigerian father and a French-Algerian mother , is eligible to play for England, Nigeria, France, and Algeria.
Having represented France at the youth level-France U-18 and U-21-Olise is now eyeing further representation of the country at the senior level.
According to Germany-based journalist Florian Plettenberg, Olise is considering representing France at the upcoming Summer Olympics after being snubbed for the Euro 2024 squad.
