MIAMI Over 20 years ago, Armando Zamora was indicted by a federal grand jury for healthcare fraud in Miami-Dade County. Along with Aurora Estevez, Zamora was accused of using Health South Medical Supply Corporation to file fraudulent Medicare claims for durable medical equipment, including custom-fitted orthotics. Estevez was arrested, pleaded guilty, and in 2005 was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to pay approximately 505,000 in restitution.

However, Zamora evaded capture and remains at large. Federal agents suspect that Zamora, a 64-year-old transgender woman known as Ana, may be hiding in either Central or South America. Authorities are seeking information on Zamora's whereabouts and urge anyone with information to contact the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector Generals Fugitive Hotline at 1-888-476-4453.
