Mensik Stuns Djokovic To Clinch Miami Open Title

Czech teenager Jakub Mensik pulled off a stunning victory over Novak Djokovic, defeating the Serbian legend 7-6 7/4, 7-6 7/4 to claim his first ATP Tour title at the Miami Open on Sunday. The 19-year-old, ranked 54th in the world, denied Djokovic his 100th career title with a fearless display of powerful tennis.

The final was delayed by nearly six hours due to heavy rain, and when play finally began, Djokovic appeared to be struggling with an eye infection, using drops during a changeover in the first set. Despite this, Mensik came out firing, breaking Djokovic's first service game to take a 2-0 lead. Though Djokovic fought back to level at 4-4, Mensik's dominance in the tie-break, including two aces, sealed the set-marking the first time Djokovic had dropped a set all tournament.

The second set saw both players holding serve, leading to another tie-break where Mensik's power again proved decisive. When Djokovic sent a return long on match point, Mensik collapsed to the court in celebration.
