The 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards, which is one of the biggest nights for pop culture, is set to honour music artist from around the world.
The awards are set to take place in Las Vegas, on Tuesday, October 8 and will screen on BET (DStv channel 129) on Wednesday, October 16 at 3am.
Leading the nominations is American rapper, Megan Thee Stallion with an impressive 12 nods, she will be hoping to pick up silverware in the coveted categories of Song of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, Hip Hop Album of the Year and Hip Hop Artist of the Year among others.
The competition is stiff as Stallion goes up against the likes of Nicki Minaj , Drake, Travis Scott and 21 Savage and others, for Hip Hop Album of the Year.
Kendrick Lamar follows closely behind with eleven nominations and Drake rounds off the top three nominees with an impressive eight nods.
