Mec Unveils R60 Million State-of-the-art Linac Machine At Livingstone Hospital
MEC Ntandokazi Capa officially unveiled a state-of-the-art linear accelerator linac machine at Livingstone Hospital in Gqeberha today. This significant investment of R60 million marks a major step forward in improving cancer treatment in the Western region.
The unveiling coincided with the first treatment of a cancer patient using this advanced technology, signalling the department's continued commitment to addressing the cancer therapy backlog in the province.
