Mec Credits Women And Youth For Food Security In Gauteng
The MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development in Gauteng, Vuyiswa Ramokgopa has acknowledged women and the youth for their contributions to the Agrifood sector and food security in the province.
She was speaking at the Women and Young Entrepreneurs awards held in Benoni, Ekurhuleni today.
The MEC says the department has three key priorities that they are focused on which are: eradicating hunger commercialisation and job creation.
Ramokgopa elaborates on the employment opportunities for women in the sector.
