African National Congress ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula says former Finance Minister Tito Mboweni was the most consistent advisor of the party regarding the government of national unity.
This after the ANC lost its majority in a historic election result, in 30 years of democracy putting South Africa on a new political path of gnu.
Mbalula has been speaking on the sidelines of Mbowenis funeral currently under way at Nkowankowa stadium in Limpopo.
He was not opposed, he was advising and we kept in touch. Even though he was not in the ANC NEC, he was the most consistent advisor of the ANC as much as we knew each other on a personal level, he was talking to me and talking to the ANC and I took his advises very well.
Former Deputy President David Mabuza has commented on the current state of the ANC saying that things in the party seem to be getting worse instead of better.
