Mbeki Praises Namibia For Electing First Woman President

Former President Thabo Mbeki has commended Namibians for electing a woman president. Mbeki says the election of Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as President should send a message that no task is easy for a particular gender.
He says women are as good as men in terms of leadership roles in society.
Speaking to the SABC at the International Womens Day event in Johannesburg on Saturday, the former President says he will attend her inauguration later this month.
