Manchester United will accelerate their search for a new centre-back and striker, after Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund picked up injuries in pre-season games.
The injuries to Yoro and Hojlund has left Erik ten Hags squad looking light going into the opening weeks of the season.
Yoro fractured a metatarsal in his left foot and will be out for three months.
Hojlund is expected to miss the next six weeks with a hamstring strain.
This setback leaves Ten Hag desperately searching for reinforcements ahead of the new season, The Telegraph reports.
