A Miami man was arrested Wednesday after police say he got into a shootout with a manager of a bar in Hialeah.

According to his arrest report, the shooting occurred just before 5 a.m. on July 26 outside the Kurva's Bar Grill, located at 2150 W. 10th Court.

Hialeah police said the suspect, Yasser Barreto, 44, is a known patron of the bar, but became aggressive with servers after having several beers and becoming inebriated.

Barreto was escorted out of the business by the manager, who asked him to leave and not return. Police said Barreto then pushed the manager before walking toward his pickup truck where he grabbed a gun.

According to the report, another victim and two security guards witnessed Barreto racking the gun and shooting one round in the air as he walked back toward the bar.
