Man Accused Of Lovers Murder In Ivory Park Nabbed Near Giyani

A 37-year-old man accused of killing his lover at Ivory Park, Tembisa, has been arrested at Bode near Giyani in Limpopo.

The suspect has been on the run since the killing last month.

Police spokesperson in Limpopo, Malesela Ledwaba says the suspect will be taken back to Gauteng for prosecution.

The suspect was reportedly hiding at Bode village under Giyani policing area. A joint operation comprising Giyani police and K9 Unit led to the apprehension of the suspect while hiding inside a hut at Bode village. A 37-year-old suspect is due to appear before the local Magistrate court soon in Gauteng province, facing a charge of murder. Police investigations are continuing.
