The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema used the partys 11th-anniversary celebrations held in Kimberley in the Northern Cape to cast aspersion on the Government of National Unity (GNU).
Malema called for the GNU to be rejected, adding it will not improve the lives of South Africans but will continue to entrench the challenges faced by the country.
Instead, he said the EFF will, going forward, support the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party in Parliament to help it become a formidable opposition.
We share our experience with the MK so that it can be an effective opposition in Parliament. Comrades, we are going to fight this GNU, Malema told those gathered at the AR Abass Sports Ground.
He described the GNU as the enemy of our people.
