Mabuyakhulu Says Newly-appointed Structure Will Ensure The Stability
ANC KwaZulu-Natal Task Team Coordinator Mike Mabuyakhulu says the newly-appointed structure will ensure the stability of the government of provincial unity in the province. He says the party is satisfied with its partners in the GPU.
The ANC support in KZN dropped from 54 to 17 after the general elections in May last year. This forced the party to form a government with the IFP, DA and NFP to cling to power.
"We have the experience to do it. The ANC is going the stage a comeback. That one we have no doubt about, but it will not come because we are saying we will stage a comeback. It will come because we will be working for it," says Mabuyakhulu.
The ANC interim leadership in KwaZulu-Natal says its under no illusion about the work that lies ahead to regain lost grounds.
Leaders of the party held their first meeting after being appointed.
